Albert Means is a former American football player who played as a defensive lineman. Born on October 17, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, Means became a football star at Trezevant High School where he was a highly recruited player.
In 2000, Means committed to the University of Alabama, one of the most prestigious football programs in the country, but he never found success on the field. He was later implicated in the infamous college football scandal known as "Cash for Bama" in which it was revealed that his high school coach had accepted $150,000 from an Alabama booster to steer him to the university.
Means transferred to Memphis University in 2001 and had a decent career there. He went on to play in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers but his career was short-lived due to multiple injuries.
Today, Means owns a construction company in Memphis and is involved in several local charities.
